December 5, 2020 President-Elect Joe Biden said, “Americans won’t be forced to take a coronavirus vaccine when one becomes available in the US.”

 

Going back on his words, President Biden and Anthony Fauci have flipped their words ten-fold. Biden and his administration introduced an unconstitutional vaccine mandate executive order. Biden’s Executive Order Vaccine Mandate has three conditions.

 

The mandate would establish that all Federal employees and employees of government contractors be vaccinated.

 

All businesses with 100 or more people must be vaccinated or undergo weekly Covid-19 tests.

 

All entities that receive Medicare/Medicaid funding must be vaccinated 

 

According to senior fellow at the Ethics and Public Policy Center Henry Olsen of the Washington Post, “Neither the private-sector mandate nor the Medicare and Medicaid vaccination requirements can survive court scrutiny. The mandate is unconstitutional because it would directly coerce a person to take a drug or test, both unconstitutional compulsions.” 

 

With the mandate of the Covid-19, Biden and other congress people are infringing on Americans citizens 14th Amendment rights.

 

The 14th Amendment states: All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the state wherein they reside. No state shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any state deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.

 

The American people were given the liberty to make decisions that would allow them to live their most productive and safe lives as possible, and with vaccine mandates, people are unable to live a life in which they are in charge of their own medical decisions. 

 

According to the New York Times, 75% of all citizens eligible for the vaccine have been immunized, and 90% of all senior citizens (the most susceptible to the virus) have been immunized. If ¾ of all Americans have been vaccinated, the push for the rest of the country to get vaccinated is absurd. 

 

According to CBS News, November 2, 2021, “Roughly 2,300 members of the New York City Fire Department claimed they were sick and didn’t show up to work on Monday as the city’s COVID-19 vaccine mandate for municipal workers went into effect.” 

 

Liberal cities enforcing vaccine mandates are dividing their communities. When approximately 2,300 public servants, part of one of the largest fire departments in the nation, leave their post because of an overbearing government, major red flags should be raised.

 

Similar to New York, Chicago Police were facing the same predicament of a vaccine mandate, but opposite to New York, an Illinois judge stated, “Because the police are unionized, an arbitrator must weigh in first before Chicago can require its officers to be immunized.” When the people that are in a profession designed to protect and serve the community are being forced to receive an immunization by liberal governments, eyebrows are raised and people unite to rebel against the government’s unconstitutional laws. 

 

By mandating a vaccine, Joe Biden and his group of political adversaries are causing an even larger divide in America and the pandemic has become more political than a health crisis. If people are still able to receive and transmit the virus after immunization, should it not be the American people’s choice whether or not they receive the vaccine?
