It’s not often that we see someone achieve their dreams at such a young age. Usually, those goals are attained by adulthood or maybe even later on in life. But for one local student, capturing her dreams has already become a reality.
Our very own Sienna Hahn, a senior at Cape Central, is not only an above average student and our student body’s vice president, she is also a model and singer. Hahn is a star of our school’s concert choir and never misses a chance to showcase her talent whether on stage or putting on performances with her best friend. She has also been modeling since she was ten under MFore Models and Wilhelmina Miami. But who really is Sienna Hahn?
Hahn enjoys playing guitar, golfing, going to concerts, and journaling. Her favorite artist is Harry Styles. One of her favorite pastimes though, is songwriting. She finds that it helps for her to express emotions that may be hard to say out loud.
Music has held such a strong influence in Hahn’s life. She started songwriting as a little girl and as time grew she found that this was something she’d like to pursue. She even plans to attend Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee. A school renowned for its music program which Hahn plans to immerse herself in. Hahn wants to work in the entertainment industry whether that be music business or becoming a performer.
High School has been a pivotal time in Hahn’s life; a time that she looks back on fondly. Even stating that the happiest time in her life was freshman year where she, “Wasn’t fully immersed in the high school environment and still felt like a kid.” One lesson she’s learned is, “Not everything matters as much as you think it does and to always stay focused and not let yourself get behind.” Those values are what’s gotten her through her four years here.
But of course, there’s that one person who Hahn couldn’t have done any of this without: her best friend, Aimee Caldwell. Caldwell, who’s been in Hahn’s life since elementary school, provides as Hahn’s backbone, support, and ultimate inspiration. Saying proudly, “She always encourages me to never get discouraged about my goals and always has a positive attitude throughout everything no matter the hardships she’s going through.”
All of Hahn’s hard work and dedication has ultimately paid off, with the upcoming release of her debut song, “Say it.” She has been working toward this since she started in music and is elated with her dream finally coming into fruition.
The future is looking bright for Hahn. With her unique voice and striking presence, she is already set to leave her mark on the world. And she’s just getting started.
