The Cape Central Tigers faced the Class-5 Jackson Indians Friday night. The Tigers were coming off of a 47-20 loss to the Hillsboro Hawks, while the Indians were coming off a big win against the Poplar Bluff Mules defeating them 56-7. The Tigers came out strong, moving the ball down the field on the first drive but were abruptly stopped by penalties and the Indian defense. The Indians were up big at the end of the 1st quarter leading 38-0. The Tiger offense only  managed to cross midfield a total of three times during the game and were shutout by the Jackson defense. The Indians racked up 63 points on the night and improved to (4-0) while the Tigers fell below .500 with a record of (1-2). The Tigers face the Farmington Knights in Farmington next Friday and look to improve to (2-2).
