Year after year Fields of Faith is marked on many calendars. Students, parents, and other leaders step out onto Houck Stadium’s field, preparing to have their hearts moved. Schools around the area unify together to hear amazing messages from high school athletes, college students, and other guest speakers. Fields of Faith begins with songs, prayer, and testimonies. The night finishes with group prayers on the field, allowing the crowd to spend time and pray over each other.
Cape Central athlete Mason Oliver states, “Fields of Faith means a lot to me because athletes from all around the area can come worship and relate to each other’s problems and lift each other up. I remember my first time going to Fields of Faith when there weren’t many people, and now it’s grown so much.” Each year more people pack the stands, attending for similar and different reasons. Junior Ayden Dockery expresses, “My favorite part of Fields of Faith is the worship because once I worship I cut out the distractions and it’s just God and I.” Adeline Cook also loves worshiping, she also explains what the event means to her, “Fields of Faith means a lot to me because of how many people it can impact, it can truly change your life forever.” Sophomore, Addisyn Andrews shares, “My favorite part is getting to worship and pray with my friends, I learned how to deal with my struggles and have worked on bringing God into more parts of my life.”
