This past Monday, more than one hundred Cape Central students were awarded academic bars and letters. In order to qualify, students must have received both a 3.67 GPA and no grades below a C during the last school year.

Attendants at the ceremony were entertained by both the Concert Orchestra and Choir before awards were presented. Josh LaMar, a music instrumental teacher, was the guest speaker and gave a speech about the importance of failure.
