CandleCruz business is owned by Mitzi QuintasCruz. CandleCruz is a candle selling shop but unique for the candles being in colorful pottery made in mexico. The candles are sold by in-person events locally with the money going to a good cause.
CandleCruz’s first ever event was May 4, 2024, QuintasCruz worked very hard to save and plan out her small business but she says, “One thing I didn’t plan was all the amazing supporters I have gained.” She first started her business to network with people because she says that the business world is all about the people. Since the start she has had many successful events and calls her business a blessing. Next QuintasCruz wants to convert her local shop to an online business.
Starting and running a business is no easy task and QuintasCruz says that the main struggles she faced were updating inventory and about what other people might have to say about her small Mexican business. But on the other hand she says her favorite thing was all the conversations she had with genuinely interested people. QuintasCruz wholeheartedly says, “I thank everyone who supported me whether that’s buying a product, spreading the word, or simply congratulating me.”
