The 2020 NFL Playoffs were exciting this year. In the AFC divisional games, you had the  KC Chiefs vs. the Cleveland Browns and the Baltimore Ravens vs. the Buffalo Bills. In the NFC divisional games, you had the Green Bay Packers vs. the LA Rams and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. the New Orleans Saints. These games ended with the Chiefs and the Bills advancing to the AFC championship game and the Packers and Buccaneers advancing to the NFC championship game.

On Sunday, January 24, the Kansas City Chiefs hosted the Buffalo Bills at Arrowhead Stadium for the AFC championship. The two teams battled it out, but many fans say that the Bills were “cheated” and were not playing up to expectations. Despite having more possessions and running more plays in the game, the Bills were unable to produce offensively as they have throughout the regular season. This game ended with the Kansas City Chiefs as the AFC championship holder for the 2020-21 season of the National Football League.

Also on Sunday, January 24, the Green Bay Packers hosted the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Lambeau Stadium in competition for the NFC championship. After the game, controversy arose from fans as they began tweeting and claiming that the referees did a poor job of officiating the competition, along with criticism of the Packers’ head coach, Matt LaFleur. Many of them claimed that the Packers were “robbed” of the game due to poor play calling on LaFleur’s part. Rather than going for a touchdown to tie the game, he settled for a field goal, allowing the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to secure the throne as 2020-21 NFC champions. Having made it to this year’s Super Bowl, this will be Tom Brady’s 10th appearance in the big game. Brady is viewed by many high school students as the playoffs MVP and the greatest player of all time.
