Since Lifetime put out the “Surviving R. Kelly Documentary” where many victims and witnesses of sexual, physical, and mental abuse come forward, to tell the truth about their relations with the pop singer, R. Kelly. Many suspicions that people had years ago are all seeming to make a little bit more sense. The topic of this docu-series has been trending on and off since January 3rd and it’s March now! The media has been a big factor in keeping this story alive and rolling because the people just want to see something done.

February 22, 2019, a month and 19 days from the release of the Surviving R. Kelly Documentary, Kelly was arrested and indicted on 10 counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse involving four minors. A new and much more clear sex-tape video allegedly shows Kelly having sexual intercourse with a 14-year old girl and it shows him also urinating on this young girl.  Very similar to the famous “pee-tape’ from 2008 in which Kelly was found not guilty because the video wasn’t clear it wasn’t the original video, they couldn’t identify Kelly because of a mole on his back that you couldn’t see in that video.

In 2019 of February this newly discovered tape allegedly shows a clear image of R. Kelly and the mole on his back that would’ve identified him in 2008. This tape has clear audio of the young girl and Kelly as well acknowledging that she’s 14- years old. Kelly’s bail was set to 1 million dollars on Saturday of February 22. He made his bail that following Monday which lets him go free until his trial date; while the whole world is watching and waiting.

Kelly has recently sat down for an interview with Gayle King on CNN. The media is going crazy, reacting to his claims of being “guilty of all charges”. Clips of the interview, even admit to rumors of him paying off young girls parents to stay quiet about their secret relationships. The full interview will be released on Monday, February 11th. Everyone is waiting to hear what Kelly has to say and most importantly his trial date! Since he’s been out of on bail Kelly has been sent back to prison due to him failing to pay sixteen thousand dollars in child support. Things aren’t looking too good for Robert at this point!
