This year, the CHS Library held it’s first advisory book club over the book, The Lonely Dead. The students involved were able to get an advance reader copy of the book when they then had a discussion over, January 29th, 2019. The author of this book is April Henry. April Henery writes novels more for children in Junior High and High school, or as many groups would say, young adults. Thus most of her works fall under the Young Adult section for many students in their school library. Also, the students involved in the Book Club are talking about writing a sequel. The book itself is amazing and has some twists and turns that won’t be expected. If I had to recommend this book, I would definitely do so. It was one of the best book’s I’ve read in a long time.
